She never was a big cheese fan in the first place (except on pizza) and doesn't like overly cheesy things now even if they do have soy cheese. Anyway, I'd think you could just sub soy cheese, or something else for the filling. I'm thinking there've got to be lots of creative things you could stuff these with. And then fry in a non-egg batter--either using egg replacer, or just flour and water. Tofu for either of these things, maybe? Anyway, I'm not into trying it out as I *love* the non-vegan version, but let me know if you figure something really tasty out and maybe I can convince Hibi to try it. <BR/><BR/>Karrie--thanks for the recommendation!
